Christine Loh is currently the chief executive of Civic Exchange, a Hong Kong think tank, which she co-founded in 2000. Among many appointments she has been an International Adviser for GLOBE G8+5 Climate Change Dialogue, member of the International Steering Committee on Development and Climate Change, and Council Member of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Christine Loh studied Law at the University of Hull, UK, Masters of Law in Chinese & Comparative Law at City University of Hong Kong, and was made Doctor of Law, honoris causa from University of Hull.

In the 90's her main areas of focus were dedicated to political activities concerning the protection of the environment and the promotion of democracy in Hong Kong, and she also founded the Citizen's party. In 1992 she was appointed to the Legislative Council (LegCo). In 1995 and 1998 she ran in two direct elections and won by a large margin. She was responsible for creating the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance, and sponsoring the historic Protection of the Harbour Ordinance. Prior to her political career, Ms. Loh enjoyed a highly successful 12 year career(1980-1991) in the private sector.

Ms. Loh has has recived many awards, of which, Hong Kong Business' "Woman of the Year" (2006), "Entreprenuer of the Year" (Women of Influence Award 2003), "Peter Bryce Award" (2004), and was chosen as one of the "Heroes of the Environment" by TIME Magazine (2007).

Loh is a authored many books on politics, environment and sustainable development, of which Being Here: Shaping a Preferred Future (2006), Reflections of Leadership 1997-2007 (2007), From Nowhere to Nowhere - A Review of Constitutional Reform in Hong Kong, 1997-2007 (2007) and Idling Engine - Hong Kong's Environmental Policy in a Ten Year Stall,1997-2007 (2007).
