Saviano: in camorra's places people need fear
25/09/2008
The author of "Gomorra" Roberto Saviano, at World Social Summit, focused on ordinary life of people in areas controlled by camorra. It's without fear, and this absence is connected to the favours promised to the citizens by local clans. This means not rebeling, and there are examples like opposition to the police during demonstrations. Clans represent an instrument to get money and favours. Saviano said that usually fear becomes complicity and that he hopes in a diffusion of fear.
