Bauman, liquid fears: today's uncertainty

Zygmunt Bauman referred his speech to contemporary fears, so-called "liquid fears" because of their capability to move from a place to another. According to the sociologist, fear of being inadequate, existential uncertainty and social uncertainty are some of the most common liquid fears you can find in our society. Bauman has also underlined and criticized the instrumental use of fear made by economic and politic power.
