Born in Brindisi in 1949, Giuseppe Roma, since 1993, has been Director-General of the Censis Foundation (Research Centre on Social Investments), where he conducts extensive researches and coordinate the drafting of the annual report on the social situation. He is General-Secretary of the Association for Italian cities RUR - Rete Urbana delle Rappresentanze (Urban Network for Local Development) since its foundation in 1989, Vice-President of Rome Trade Fair spa, and Professor of Urban Management at the Third University of Rome, Faculty of Architecture, since 1997.
