Marino Sinibaldi

Marino Sinibaldi is a journalist, literary critic and radio host who was born in Rome in 1954. He is currently deputy director for RAI radio programmes. He is also the author and host of radio programmes such as "Fine secolo" (End of the Century), "Lampi" (Lightning), "Senza Rete" (Without a Network), "Supergiovani" (Super Youth), "Tema" and "La storia siamo noi" (We Are History). In 1999 he created "Fahrenheit", the afternoon cultural programme on Channel 3 radio that became a point of reference for the world of culture and Italian publishing. He was one of the founders of the magazine, "Linea d'ombra" (Shadow Lines) and published essays on sociology and literary criticism, among them "Pulp, La Letteratura nell'era della simultaneità" (Pulp, Literature in the Era of Simultaneousness) (1997) and "E' difficile parlare di sé" (It's difficult to talk about yourself), multiple-voice conversations hosted by Marino Sinibaldi (1999). In 2006 he received the prestigious Ischia Prize as radio journalist of the year, and in 2007 he received the Flaiano Television and Radio Prize for "Fahrenheit". He lectures at the Sapienza University in Rome, where he teaches in the Radio Workshop Department.
