'WSS: Alemanno, finding a balance point between the world's north and south'
"The uncertainty mentioned by Censis' survey, is linked to the social and economic problem" said the Mayor of Rome, Gianni Alemanno, speaking at the opening of the World Social Summit held in Rome until September 26th. "We must work on introduction values to find a meeting point between the world's north and south, which allows to identify a balance point between the industrial world and the third world". Space shall not be left to "the fundamentalism of terrorism" said Alemanno and a "universal view is needed towards human values, which cannot be set aside from identities".
